FINANCIALS: TrueBlue sees revenue fall

US blue-collar recruiter TrueBlue has seen revenue decline 6% year-on-year, according to the company’s third-quarter results for 2019.

The results, released this morning, reveal Q3 2019 revenue of $637m (£495.8m), down from $680m in Q3 of 2018, with net income per diluted share of $0.68, an increase of 11% compared with $0.61. Adjusted net income per diluted share was $0.76, a decrease of 4%, compared with $0.79.

Commenting on the group’s performance, TrueBlue CEO Patrick Beharelle said: “Strong execution drove better than expected top-line and bottom-line results. Despite ongoing economic uncertainty, monthly revenue trends were consistent during the quarter.

“TrueBlue has been driving digital disruption in the staffing industry with our JobStack and Affinix offerings, and we continue to experience favourable employee and customer adoption. We remain focused on client expansion and retention, disciplined cost management and investing in our digital strategies.”
