FINANCIALS: Prime People posts increase in revenue and profits

Prime People, a global group of specialist recruitment businesses in the built environment, engineering and IT sectors, has seen a rise in year-on-year revenue and net fee income.

According to unaudited interim results for the six months ended 30 September 2019, the results reveal group revenue of £13.17m – 4.72% up on the same period last year, with group NFI of £8.8m up from £7.99m in H1 2019. The group reported a strong performance from Hong Kong subsidiary Command recruitment group.

In the UK, the group’s profit before tax was £480k against £620k in H1 2019, while its newly established business in Germany, which comes under Rest of the World, reported a small profit and according to the group is indicating good opportunities for growth.
