The research, released this week, reveals residents in the Welsh capital of Cardiff feel least secure in their job (60%), closely followed by Norwich (59%) and Sheffield (56%).

The top 10 cities with the highest percentage of employees worried their job is at risk in 2020 are:

• Cardiff (60%)
• Norwich (59%)
• Sheffield (56%)
• Manchester (54%)
• Liverpool (49%)
• Leeds (48%)
• Southampton and London (45%)
• Nottingham (44%)
• Edinburgh (43%)
• Newcastle (42%)

But the data also shows the cities where employees are most likely to make a career move this year:

• London (66%)
• Bristol (65%)
• Belfast (59%)
• Glasgow (57%)
• Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham (54%)
• Norwich (51%)
• = Leeds, Nottingham, Southampton (49%)
• Cardiff (47%)
• Newcastle (44%)
• Liverpool (42%)
