• Michael Brennan joins multi-sector recruiter MERJE as head of business development. Brennan joins MERJE after 15 months in New York leading recruitment teams specialising in the IT and insurance sectors, and before that he was a director at Michael Page for 10 years.

• Spaceflight company Virgin Galactic has appointed Diane Prins Sheldahl as its executive vice president of people and organisation. She will be responsible for leading the Virgin Galactic’s people organisation for both VG and The Spaceship Company (TSC). Her team will also be responsible for VG’s and TSC’s organisational design and execution of HR strategic initiatives.
