Berry Recruitment expands into Wellingborough

Multi-sector recruiter Berry Recruitment has expanded into Wellingborough, Northants, in a strategic move to widen its East Midlands catchment area, the company has announced.

While Berry still serves its previous East Midlands base of operations in Northampton, the company has improved its access to nearby locations in Kettering, Corby and Daventry by expanding to Wellingborough, which is North-East of Northampton, a company statement said.

Regional manager Rachel Murphy said the expansion to Wellingborough “made sense in many ways”, including easier access to the A14 corridor, which heads East to the A1 interchange, then Cambridge, Ipswich and Felixstowe.

The branch’s driving, industrial and construction departments are seeing an upturn in the current climate, with another key area of client interest in ‘Covid chaperones’, who manage queues and enforce social distancing, Murphy said.
