Life of VIQU director Barnshaw to be celebrated in 20 August memorial
A celebration of the life of Edward Barnshaw (pictured left), co-director and owner of VIQU Recruitment, who died on 1 August as the result of an accident, is due on 20 August.
Described by Matt Collingwood (above right with Barnshaw), VIQU managing director and founder, as his business partner and “a brother”, Barnshaw had encouraged Collingwood to launch VIQU six years ago, and then stayed close to the IT recruitment firm and its employees. “He was a massive giver,” Collingwood told Recruiter.
Barnshaw’s LinkedIn profile theme was ‘Loving saving businesses time and money, and more importantly creating careers’.
He lived in Birmingham and was the director of other companies across the hair salon supplies and property management industries.
Barnshaw is survived by his fiancée Hannah, his parents Patricia and Russell, and brothers Rob and Craig.
