What music do recruiters listen to when working from home?

Recruiters, when you’re working from home, do you like a bit of Beethoven or a dip with Dua Lipa to get your toes tapping and the work running smoothly?

Energy supplier Gazprom Energy, sourcing data from Spotify, has identified the most frequently featured songs on WFH playlists across different industries – including recruitment.

Recruiters’ top songs averaged 113 beats per minute (BPM). Compared to the UK average of 119 BPM, recruiters tend to enjoy slightly slower songs with more groove. And compared to marketers, for instance, who have an average BPM of 123, recruiters’ top choices slow down the pace of your fast-moving work environment.

Here are recruiters’ top WFH songs:

  1. Go Your Own Way – Fleetwood Mac
  2. The Nights – Avicii
  3. 9 to 5 – Dolly Parton
  4. That’s What I Like – Bruno Mars
  5. Electric Feel – MGMT
  6. Wild Wild Life – Talking Heads
  7. Mo Money Mo Problems – Notorious B.I.G.
  8. Virtual Insanity – Jamiroquai
  9. This Is How We Do it – Montell Jordan
  10. No Scrubs – TLC
