Recruitment drive helps Snakebyte gaming firm expand in UK

Snakebyte, a global supplier of consumer electronics and gaming accessories, has announced plans to expand in the UK market in 2021.

Currently operating an office in Telford, Snakebyte also has offices in Schwerte, Germany, San Diego and Hong Kong.

The firm’s recruitment drive will begin this month, a company statement said. The first objective will be to increase the UK sales team to provide full-service provisions to retail from dedicated in-house staff across Snakebyte’s portfolio of brands. They include: Snakebyte gaming accessories, Pebble Gear Kids’ Tablet and Honeycomb flight-sim hardware.

The company also plans to roll out its OEM [original equipment manufacturing] and Private label service that is used by retailers of all sizes around the globe, the statement said.

Mike Steup, Snakebyte Group CEO, said: “We have already built some very good relationships in the UK, and we want to take those to the next level. We have always seen gaming and technology partnerships in the UK as very important to us. With the situation around Brexit, we feel that having dedicated people in country to service our retailers is vital.”
