VetFinders fund Blue Cross nurse for a day for new placement

Specialist recruiter VetFinders has launched a new charitable initiative with pet veterinary and rehoming charity Blue Cross.

The York-based recruitment firm will pay for a Blue Cross nurse for the day every time they successfully place a candidate, a company statement said.

VetFinders, which focuses on candidate placement for vet practices, animal hospitals and charities throughout the UK, has also donated funds to support two final-year nursing students in completing their studies.

Chris Worthington, VetFinders’ MD, said: “We are a mission-driven business set up with two clear goals: one, to place people in their dream roles, and the other, to give back to the industry we love.”
