Ex-Arcadia staff re-employed at vaccine site in Workington

Former Arcadia staff are being offered work in a new Covid-19 vaccine site at a former Topshop store in Workington, North-West England.

Pharmacy2U, a UK online pharmacy, opened the vaccination site last week, based in Workington’s Dunmail Park. The support team on site will consist of workers who lost their job when Topshop’s owner Arcadia closed all of its stores last year.

The ex-Topshop store in Workington joins other Pharmacy2U Covid-19 vaccine sites including Odeon Cinema in Aylesbury and Nuneaton, Village Hotels in Nottingham and Leeds, as well as Newmarket and Aintree racecourses.
