• Specialist energy recruitment firm ersg has appointed Sarah Solari as client solutions business manager, based in its South-East London headquarters in Bromley. Solari joins with 10 years’ recruitment experience, six of those directly working within renewables. She is also a strong advocate for women working within renewables and has been a spokesperson for this at industry events.

• Law firm Higgs & Sons has brought in Claire Rankovic in a new in-house specialist role. Rankovic began her career as a solicitor, before moving into legal recruitment. Her new role as in-house recruiter means the firm has a dedicated person in place to search for talent.

• SThree, the international specialist staffing business focused on roles in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), has appointed Andrew Beach as chief financial officer from 5 July 2021 and will be formally appointed to the board on 15 July 2021. Beach joins with more than 13 years’ experience as CFO in listed companies. He was previously CFO of Hyve Group, a global exhibitions business, and was instrumental in leading it through a period of significant transformation and rapid international growth which resulted in its promotion to the FTSE 250. 

SThree’s current CFO Alex Smith will step down from the board in July, following which he will remain with the company to effect an orderly handover.
