• Global staffing group Empresaria has appointed Garrick Cooper as president, North America. Cooper brings with him more than 23 years of experience, most recently from Volt Workforce Solutions where, as vice president, Technical, he was responsible for the direction of sales and delivery teams spanning North America. Cooper will be responsible for developing the group’s operations and delivery of its strategy in North America.

• Technical and engineering recruitment agency Ganymede Solutions has appointed Paul Cook as head of rail operations in Scotland. Cook was previously operations director in the Scottish rail industry for the past 16 years.
