Smart Solutions is in the process of specialising its service offering to be specifically tailored to the sectors in which they work, and part of this strategy includes Calcraft’s promotion, a company statement said.

Calcraft’s roles and responsibilities have evolved since he joined the business six years ago as a senior consultant, earning numerous promotions from branch manager, to regional manager, to regional director and then operations director.

“In line with our current strategy to specialise our services, we are investing heavily into our people and technology to enhance our reputation and service offering,” Calcraft said.

To support and address the current labour market challenges, he aims to focus on Smart’s strategic model, making adaptations to the business’ resource and account management infrastructure to mitigate the shortages in the industry.

“Driven by our expert employees, this growth enhances our reputation in the market, with development of our internal training and development programmes now being key priorities as we move forward.”
