Forward Role promotes Wheeler to associate director

Marketing, digital and technology recruitment consultancy Forward Role has promoted Rachel Wheeler to associate director.

Joining Forward Role’s Manchester HQ in 2017 to support activity the business in the e-commerce sector, Wheeler has since progressed from senior consultant to business manager, and through to her new role as associate director.

Her new position sees Forward Role mark the appointment of its first female director, supporting its internal culture of enabling a diverse workforce to succeed.

Wheeler says: “At Forward Role, we’re enabling a movement for females in recruitment to thrive, and we’re passionate about making an impact in our industry. We have a strong culture which says to all that no matter what your background is, your aspirations are achievable.”

As Forward Role continues to grow across the UK and increase its international focus, she adds: “We’re continuing to grow organically in the North-West, and are working towards this becoming the standard across the country. In my role, I’ll be ensuring that we maximise our coverage with businesses that we’re working with, and partnering with organisations effectively to provide a whole service solution.”

Managing director Brian Johnson says of her promotion: “Rachel is hugely respected in the e-commerce product field… and her dedication and drive has made her a role model to all. Having developed our market-leading maternity package, Rachel is a strong advocate for women in the workplace, and we look forward to working closely with her as we continue to support our client's drive for digital transformation.”
