• Global energy recruitment specialist Applica has launched a new website. Applica was founded in 2018 by Matt Halle who said he “felt it was time to have a brand and website that portrayed where we are as a company” following three years of growth. Applica now has offices in the UK, US and Scandinavia with solutions in place to support Europe and Asia. The recruiter has also been joined by Julie Walla, vice president North America, and a specialist in business development and US operations.

• Training providers Realise and ICS Learn Group have announced a partnership that will combine their learning content for the Business Partner/Consultant Level 5 Apprenticeships and relevant CIPD courses in HR and L&D. The qualifications will be delivered by Realise trainers with ICS Learn Group providing CIPD content. It will target HR and L&D professionals who have experience in management roles and are looking to take the next step in their careers.

UKG acquires Shiftboard to boost scheduling tools

HR and workforce management firm UKG has acquired Shiftboard, a US-based employee scheduling software provider.
