Funding from Santander helps BOSS Professional Services expand in Europe/Africa

Recruitment firm BOSS Professional Services has unveiled plans to expand its business in the renewable energy sector in Europe and Africa following funding from Santander UK.

Santander UK has provided the business with a £5.15m invoice finance package. The working capital supports its planned growth in the renewable energy sector in Europe, including Germany, Denmark and Sweden, and Africa, specifically Ghana. It plans to grow its business with existing renewable energy clients and to attract new customers in the sector.

London-headquartered BOSS Professional Services comprises a group of recruitment agencies providing consultants to several industry sectors including energy, IT and life sciences. It currently employs a staff of 50 and has a pool of 180 consultants. It plans to increase its staff and consultants in line with its anticipated growth over the next few years.

BOSS Professional Services has banked with Santander UK since 2014, shortly after it was established, and has grown significantly over that time. It is on track to achieve annual turnover of £35m this year, up from £20.6m last year, and it is targeting turnover of £40m next year.
