This week’s appointments include: Cammach, Remote, Willo

• Oil & gas, renewables and space industries recruitment agency Cammach has launched a drilling and wells division, and appointed Drew Alexander as managing director of the specialist Aberdeen-based team. Former business manager Alexander has 25 years’ recruitment experience, the latter 15 years within the drilling and wells sector at manager/director level. He will target growth in the UK and globally. Senior recruitment specialists Nicola Allan and Rania Wanism join the team, bringing 43 years of combined experience in drilling and wells.

Remote, an organisation that builds, manages and supports global distributed workforces, has appointed Barbara Matthews as chief people officer. Matthews joins Remote from Stripe, where she helped build the company’s global HR function as its international head of HR, EMEA & APAC. Before Stripe, Matthews spent more than 12 years on the people team at Google.

• Global rec-tech start-up Willo has appointed Kevin Swan to lead its finance division and help drive further national and international expansion. Swan joins from EY, where as associate director corporate finance, he was responsible for leading the professional services giant’s technology deals in Scotland. He will initially focus on expanding Willo’s use of data-led business insights and intelligence.
