Lloyd Banks hands over baton to Comolly-Jones and Porter at Rubicon

Jess Comolly-Jones and Terry Porter have been appointed joint managing directors of Rubicon People Partnership.
The promotions come as Lloyd Banks steps down from the employee-owned national recruitment consultancy after 24 years at the helm.
Rubicon, which is headquartered in Poole, Dorset, became one of the first recruitment consultancies in the UK to become 100% employee owned in 2021.
Comolly-Jones joined the business as a trainee in 2005, rising to commercial director. Porter joined the following year, also as a trainee, and rose to director of operations.
Commenting on the new promotions, Lloyd said: “Both Jess and Terry have very different skillsets and work very well together. Passing the baton to them was a no-brainer. They’re inheriting a solid and successful business and have the energy and the personal motivation to take it forward.”
Rubicon employs 37 people and has an annual turnover of more than £12m, serving sectors including technical, manufacturing, logistics, commercial and executive/C-suite positions.
Future plans include continuing to expand across the UK, as well as new initiatives such as the recent relaunch of Rubicon Executive.
