Fawkes & Reece acquires Venture Contracts

National construction recruiter Fawkes & Reece has acquired Northampton-based recruiter Venture Contracts.

Emma Charles, director of Venture Contracts, takes up the role of director for blue collar across both London and the Midlands.

This acquisition gives Fawkes & Reece its seventh regional office across the UK and over 150 members of staff.

Ray Connolly, Fawkes & Reece’s group managing director, said Venture Contracts’ strong team will strengthen its delivery capabilities across Central, South and the East Midlands: “We are already a national business but in the South Midlands, between our London and Birmingham offices, we needed a strong, local presence to provide an increased level of service.”

Charles said: “Over the last 11 years we have worked hard to build our reputation and team. We are inspired by the vision of Fawkes & Reece, and we will be better equipped to support our customers. The team and I are really excited to get going.”
