Ford & Stanley on track to help Buckland Rail grow

Ford & Stanley Talent Services Group has secured a three-year contract to provide staffing solutions for Buckland Rail, a newly integrated rail services company.

This partnership involves Derby-based Ford & Stanley’s three divisions – TalentWise, Recruitment and Executive Search – and will place staff across a number of roles from shop floor positions to boardroom leadership.

Buckland Rail was formed last year by integrating W.H. Davis, Davis Wagon Services and Yellow Rail under the Buckland Group. The company focuses on areas such as freight wagon maintenance, bogie overhauls and material supply services, with the aim of growing and strengthening its position in the UK rail sector.

Daniel Taylor (pictured right), Ford & Stanley Talent Services Group director, said: “Throughout the last six months, we have worked with the leadership team of Buckland Rail to tailor a service provision to their business need. It’s going to be an exciting few years ahead; we’re both delighted and privileged to play our part in supporting the journey.”

Jackie Glover (pictured left), Buckland Rail group supply chain and procurement director, added: “As our business looks to grow exponentially in the years ahead, a priority for us has been to appoint a reputable, credible recruitment partner that holds industry expertise in the vertical and cross functional needs of our business.

“Ford & Stanley came forward with the most innovative, low maintenance yet highly effective solutions.”
