Moshiri negotiates her way through task one on The Apprentice

The first episode in the BBC’s The Apprentice aired last week and the good news is our recruitment representative is still in – just!

Unless you’ve been in hiding on a remote island for the past 20 years, The Apprentice aims to whittle down a batch of ambitious entrepreneurs seeking to demonstrate their business sense (yes, really) and win a £250k investment and the chance to go into a business partnership with head honcho and ultimate entrepreneur Lord Sugar.

Having dispatched the candidates off to Austria to lead and offer tours in the Austrian hills and mountains to tourists, Team Forest, which included the recruitment industry’s own Melica Moshiri, undertook an e-bike tour in the hills to its (uh hum) six (yes, 6) participants. Yodelling also played a part in the ‘experience’ – enough said…

Unsurprisingly, Team Forest came away with a loss and found themselves enduring the wrath of The Lord in the boardroom. Luckily, Our Melica, who stayed under the radar in the programme but was one of the few on Team Forest who managed to sell a ticket at a profit, escaped the firing and lives to fight another episode.

Here’s hoping she’ll continue to stay in the process and won’t be told “on yer bike” by Lord Sugar.
