Financial services recruiter Contracting Solutions Group has announced that turnover fell by 12.5% in its results for the year ended 31 January 2009.

The firm recorded turnover of £31.6m in the period but profit before interest and tax increased to £856,000, up from £547,000 in 2008.

Sales staffing firm Teamsales, part of the Empresaria Group, has acquired rival Sales Link Services.

Managing director of Teamsales Paul Brennan says: “We believe there is a natural fit between the two businesses which will create a number of opportunities for us, including the ability to offer our services across a wider geographical area throughout England and Wales.

The Gangmasters Licensing Authority has announced that there will be no increase in licence fees for the year to 31 March 2011.

For the current 1,185 licence holders they will only need to pay the renewal fee, and for those with a turnover of less than £1m this will only cost £400.
