Technical recruiter Morson is looking to overseas markets to boost growth.

Ged Mason, chief executive of Morson Group, told Recruiter the company is looking to open more offices abroad to support existing customers where the financial numbers warranted it.

The research shows that IT workers in the North earned 69% of London salaries in 2009, up from 66% in 2008.  Average weekly pay for IT professionals in the North of England rose by 6% last year to £625, up from £590 in 2008.
