Healthcare consultancy, executive search and interim firm BE Smith has appointed Laurie Gehrt as senior vice president for its interim leadership and consulting solutions division.

Gehrt’s background is in nursing and nursing management. A qualified nurse herself, she was most recently employed as chief nursing officer for healthcare firm Cerner’s US consulting operations.
