Job advertisements in newspapers and on the internet in Australia rose 3.3% in February, a second successive month of gains.

Job advertisements in newspapers and on the internet in Australia rose 3.3% in February, a second successive month of gains.
This is according to a report from the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group.The group’s chief economist Warren Hogan says: “If these hiring intentions are converted into actual jobs then it appears that the Australian labour market is in for a gradual improvement over the course of 2012.”
Hogan adds that the mining, energy and infrastructure sectors are particularly strong.
