Global executive and professional recruitment and leadership services group, Harvey Nash Group, has expanded its geographic reach in the Asia Pacific region with the opening of its office in Hong Kong, China.
The new business will be led by executive search managing director Nick Marsh and will focus on working with our existing network of clients as well as global Fortune 500 companies, private equity organisations and fast growing small- to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Asia.Assignments will be delivered across the region and searches are currently being commissioned in India, China and Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines.
Marsh says: “We have been working with global clients in the region for some time now, so it makes sense for us to open our Asia Pacific executive search and leadership services headquarters in Hong Kong.
“Demand from our European and US clients for executive search capability in the region has been increasing and many clients are growing their Asian businesses to capitalise on higher growth emerging markets.”
Albert Ellis, chief executive of Harvey Nash Group, adds: “After recently announcing strong trading results I’m delighted that Harvey Nash has decided to focus in the Asia Pacific emerging markets and particularly throughout China in line with our group’s strategy to expand from our base in Vietnam into Hong Kong and Australia in the first half of 2012.”
