INTERNATIONAL US: New Tennessee call centre to create over 500 jobs

Roadside and vehicle assistance firm Agero is to create 500 new jobs when it opens its sixth North American driver assistance call and data response centre in Clarksville, Tennessee. It will take over a new facility and begin operations this October, following consideration of 21 different locations in a 16-month search.

Roadside and vehicle assistance firm Agero is to create 500 new jobs when it opens its sixth North American driver assistance call and data response centre in Clarksville, Tennessee.

It will take over a new facility and begin operations this October, following consideration of 21 different locations in a 16-month search.The company will start evaluating candidates in July with 250 new hires due by the end of 2012, and a further 250 next year.

Agero president of insurance and automotive services Dave Ferrick says collaboration with the local Economic Development Council, Industrial Development Board and other local officials was a key in the choice of location.
