Pharmacy chain Alnahdi Medical Company is creating 500 new jobs in three business areas.

This is according to news site AMEinfo.com, which notes that 250 of the jobs will be for pharmacist assistants, 200 for cashiers and 50 for dermatologists.Speaking to the website, the company’s senior director for marketing and external affairs says that the company’s “goal is to become the employer of choice for the local workforce in the Kingdom”.

He also notes that 60% of Saudi Arabia’s inhabitants live within five minutes reach of one of the company’s outlets and aims to raise this to 90% by 2016.
