Procurement, supply chain and operational excellence executive search firm Proco Global Group has appointed Cristiano Aron into the newly-created role of regional chief executive for Latin America.

He was previously managing director in Brazil for recruiter FiveTen Group, and takes responsibility for the Sao Paulo office as well as new openings in Mexico City and Rio de Janeiro over the next two years.

Proco CEO Richard Paisley says the plan is for Latin America to contribute 20% of group net fee income by 2014.

Earlier this summer, the company also looked to new locations in creating another new regional leadership role, with Matt Hill taking on a similar role for Asia-Pacific.
