Are you, like us, noticing the positive signs that recovery is on the horizon? Well, that got me thinking about how to be positive and how to attract abundance. After all, to focus on the ‘negative’ doesn’t pay the bills and I don’t know about you but I have BILLS. These tips may help.
1. Don’t to buy into the fear! Bad news sells. Good news is considered dull and unworthy of reporting. Have you noticed how the stock market reacts to even the slightest rumour?
2. Be grateful for anything and everything. Chances are there are a lot of other people out there who would love to swap places with you. Can you see, hear, walk, and talk? Even with aches and pains, Do you have a home, a family? A lot of people are not so well off. Be grateful about everything you can think of.
3. Be generous. Whatever happens, don’t sweat the small stuff. Just let it go. Next time you have change from your shopping at the local shop, drop it in the charity bucket at the checkout. Donate to or volunteer your time with a local charity. Having a grateful heart and a generous spirit is the quickest way to attract abundance in your own life.
4. Get moving! Nobody is going to bail you out, unless you are a bank of course. Solutions are all around you. They will appear when you relax and lighten up a bit.
5. Stay away from the doomsayers. You know the ones that like to sit around and complain and focus on all the ills of the world. They are energy parasites. Get them out of your life. Turn off the TV news and don’t read all the negative press about how “the end is nigh” Well — read it perhaps, but don’t be overly influenced by it… remember those bills?
6. Source out and work with people who find ways around the problem - the people you know that have goals and objectives. If you don’t know any, find some! Be very careful who you spend your time with. Your time is your life. Spend it wisely
7. Build your network of already successful people. No one can succeed without the help of others. It is OK to ask for help. People actually like helping other people. You might well be surprised with the response you get.
8. Listen to yourself. That’s your intuition speaking. What is it that you have always wanted to be or do? Now is the time. Now is your chance. Take it.
9. “When you are in hell, keep going” as Churchill once said. Very few people are successful the first time they try something new. Don’t stop trying until you get what you want.
10. Enjoy the successes no matter how small. After all, success breeds success!!
“Nothing in the world can take place of persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not: unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not: the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.” Calvin Coolidge, US President 1923-29
