Arsenal Football Club has announced the appointment of Trevor Saving as head of people and operations.

Saving has held senior management positions at his previous companies which include one of the world’s leading insurance brokers and risk management advisors, Marsh & McLennan.??

The lifelong Arsenal fan has co-ordinated global HR functions and organisational strategy for Pepsi Co, Revlon, Levi Strauss and Dunlop International, and will lead Arsenal’s new HR function, as well as overseeing the club’s day-to-day operations, developing operational systems to maximise the level of efficiency.

Executive search firm Spencer Stuart helped the Premiership club in the recruitment process.
