Bespoke's site cuts fee for clients
Searchable: clients do the work at Bespoke Careers’ site
A recruitment company’s new website which allows the client to search its database for candidates is a response to clients not wanting to spend as much on recruitment fees, says the firm’s managing director.
Bespoke Careers, a central London-based agency, which targets the architectural sector, has launched the site which allows clients to view the CVs, software capabilities, interview notes and samples of work of up to 500 jobseekers.
Lindsay Urquhart, Bespoke’s managing director, told Recruiter: “We are only charging 50% of the usual fee for permanent placements because the client is doing more of the work, while a fixed fee applies to contract work. It was a response to feedback we had from our clients, who said
they liked the service we offered but did not want to spend as much on fees.”
The client is given their own log-on and password details to access the site. Once they have found a candidate who meets their criteria, they can then email or telephone the agency to take things further.
Urquhart added: “What’s great about it is we are making good use of our time. For the client, it means that they can look up candidates whenever they like.”
The site will go live on 8 July.
