Bonuses and reward-based pay have topped a poll of the most influential factors in deciding to take a job, according to a survey of London-based office support professionals by commercial recruiter Crone Corkill, an Advantage Professional company.

The data reveals that with more than half of the vote, bonuses and reward-based pay were the clear winners. Pension schemes accounted for second place, with just under a quarter of respondents while healthcare came third on 20%. Just over 2% said a company car and gym membership would be the deciding factor.

Gabrielle Drake, associate director of Crone Corkill, says: “Gone are the days when salary was enough to recruit and retain top talent for your business; providing attractive employee benefits is now just as important.”
