Marketing and communications recruiter EMR is set to open an office in São Paulo.

Other FiveTen firms, such as accountancy and finance brand Marks Sattin and legal brand Laurence Simons, are already active in Brazil in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro respectively.

The São Paulo office will be run by Wanderley Saldanha Filho who has spent more than 10 years working in marketing and sales in multinational organisations including Citigroup, Telefonica and Ambev. Previously, he was with Michael Page in São Paulo.

Paul Taylor, chief executive Americas of FiveTen Group, says: “There are huge and growing opportunities for the FiveTen Group in the Brazilian market where sales & marketing is the second largest recruitment discipline. At present, no other company offers specialist marketing recruitment in Brazil, so we are very well placed to make substantial inroads into the local market.”
