Technical recruiter Exxell has opened its doors for business.

The firm, led by technical specialists Peter Cooper and Nigel Rees, has been created out of former South-East technical recruitment business Oracle Global Resourcing.

Ex-Reed executive Cooper, and Rees, a former regional manager at Morson Group, have received financial backing of UK-wide recruiter Acorn.

Matt Southall, founder and managing director of Acorn, says: “The incorporation of Exxell into the Acorn Group brings a further £14m revenues to our business and, as well as bolstering some of our sector expertise and client portfolio quite considerably, also extends our locations to include the South-East.”
