The former chief operating officer of FiveTen Group, Niall Hamill, has announced plans for a new company to begin trading in 2010.

Hamill exclusively told Recruiter that he plans to grow the new company through a combination of organic growth and strategic acquisition initially opening simultaneously in Sydney and Melbourne. It will employ 20 fee earners in financial services recruitment, subsequently expanding locally and into Asia by the middle of the year, which should bring numbers closer to 50.

Hamill also said that both India and China were on the radar as he believed that the markets were now mature enough to accept a fee for service.

He also confirmed that he has engaged Northbridge Consulting to “run the ruler” over several potential acquisitions both public and privately owned, while ruling out any entry to the UK or European markets.
