Talent management and resourcing provider Alexander Mann Solutions (AMS) officially opened its North American headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio yesterday (19 September).

The Cleveland centre will support AMS clients across the Americas and worldwide. AMS expects to hire around 300 employees over the next 18-24 months.

AMS already employs 62 staff in the US. Clients include financial services firm Credit Suisse Group, aerospace company Cobham, Nike, pharmaceutical giant Novartis and Rolls-Royce. North and South America currently represent 7% of the company’s sales.

Commenting on the opening, Rosaleen Blair, founder and chief executive of AMS, says: “Cleveland, Ohio was a natural choice for us to establish our latest global client service centre, both from an operational and financial perspective. From our new base we are well positioned to win and transact work from across and outside the Americas.”

Among those who attended the official opening were Ohio state governor John R Kasich; Cleveland mayor Frank G. Jackson; Robert Chatterson Dickson, the British consul general based in Chicago; and AMS-sponsored US Paralympian Tatyana McFadden, who won three golds and a bronze in the London Paralympics this summer.
