Confidence is on the rise among employers in recruiting IT contractors, according to James Smith, director of global recruitment services at IT & telecoms staffing specialist Networkers International.

Smith told Recruiter: “There is still a strong demand in both permanent and contract recruitment but clients are more confident on taking on contractors for specific projects due to the flexibility they get with it. There is an end date to the project, so they are not making a full-on commitment as they would do with permanent.”
