The UAE’s construction industry is facing a problems connected to late payments, according to an industry round table conducted by Emirates Business.

The round table revealed that timeframes for payments had doubled from 90 to 180 days, while banks are cautious over private sector lending with no pick-up for the sector predicted until early next year.
