Racing Post Jobs to hurdle new markets

The jobs board of horse racing magazine Racing Post, rpjobs.co.uk, will expand into new markets such as bingo, gaming and casino jobs.

A company spokesperson tells Recruiter that the jobs board will broaden its overall focus by incorporating these areas in the early part of next year.

Having hosted 10,000 job advertisements when the website was launched in early September, it now has over 12,000.

A spokesperson for Hotlizard, the online recruitment company delivering rpjobs.co.uk, believes the job board could also move into general sectors such as IT and marketing.

Hotlizard also told Recruiter: “There are a lot of what we would call ‘off the shelf’ job boards – but when an organisation is setting up a new job board they might not want to just start again when they evolve in a few years time.”
