Despite rising unemployment, one in 10 workers is considering moving on for the same or slightly less money, according to headhunting consultancy McGraw Stone.
The research found that highest earners are least loyal with 22% earning more than £70,000 seeking a change, while lower earners and more reluctant to want to move, with 7% of those with a gross income of less than £25,000 thinking about a new challenge.
The survey also found that retail workers were the most likely to seek a change, while workers in the financial sector were more cautious and more money is not the most important consideration for charity workers when seeking a new role.
