Recruiter bounties posted in online site

Recruiters have responded positively to an online marketplace called TalentPuzzle that allows employers to post vacancies along with the percentage placement fees they are willing to pay a recruite

Recruiters have responded positively to an online marketplace called TalentPuzzle that allows employers to post vacancies along with the percentage placement fees they are willing to pay a recruiter for a successful candidate introduction.

Founder Virginia Raemy says the model is based on the US site, BountyJobs, and a number of recruiters have already signed up to the site.
She told Recruiter that she believes TalentPuzzle has an even greater potential for success for the UK recruitment sector since it is so “intermediated” and believes it also fits well with the drive by employers to cut costs.

“We’re finding that HR people don’t want to spend time talking to a lot of recruitment agencies at the moment so it helps them with their vendor management,” she said, adding that employers can add a Talent- Puzzle icon to their career site that will direct jobseekers and agencies to the marketplace.

While the site will target all sectors, the initial focus is on areas that are doing well despite the recession, such as renewable energy, engineering and the life sciences.

One of the early adopters is Acre Resources. Marketing manager Bethany Cox said: “For a recruitment consultancy like Acre Resources,TalentPuzzle will hopefully help us efficiently source new vacancies to work on and reach new clients. The rating system that TalentPuzzle gives recruitment consultancies will help clients identify the best suppliers in niche sectors and will hopefully make the process smoother for all involved.”
