Interim management company Russam GMS has been appointed by the Department of Health (DH) and the NHS Purchasing and Supply Agency (NHS PASA) as one of the suppliers on the commercial resources framework.

The framework began on 1 June and will continue thorough to 30 April 2012, with an option to extend for a further two periods of 12 months.

The framework provides the DH and the NHS with access to pre-qualified suppliers of non-permanent workers with commercial skills. It will also support skills transfer to sustain the development of commercial skills throughout the NHS, DH and the wider system.

Russam GMS will work across the NHS to provide experienced interim managers able to deliver organisational efficiencies and major cost savings as part of the NHS’s new commercial operating model.
