International executive search firm Russell Reynolds Associates has been selected by the National Association of Broadcasters in the US to conduct a search for a new president and chief executive.

David Rehr stepped down from the position in May. Janet McGregor, NAB chief operating officer and financial officer, will serve as acting president and CEO during the search for Rehr’s replacement.

The NAB is a trade association that advocates on behalf of more than 8,300 free, local radio and television stations and also broadcast networks before US Congress, the Federal Communications Commission and the Courts.
