Agency management recruitment firm de Poel has witnessed an increase in its sales this month which, it says, is indicative of a recovering labour market.

The firm has taken on its highest number of new clients during August – the first increase in agency appointments in 18 months.

Matthew Sanders, chief executive of de Poel, says: “The rise in the number of companies using our services would suggest that there is an increasing demand for temporary agency workers.

“By adopting our solutions, large firms such as Sainsbury’s as well as smaller charitable organisations such as Kent Community Housing Trust, benefit from reduced spend and a much more efficient recruitment process.”
