Blue-collar recruiter Staffline has closed four branches in response to market conditions.
Blue-collar recruiter Staffline has closed four branches in response to market conditions.
Andy Hogarth, Staffline’s managing director, told Recruiter the branches had been merged with other locations and headcount loss was “marginal” with only three people being made redundant.
“We would normally expect to have between 800 and 1,000 staff working in the area and now we have a fraction of that. However, food production in the East Midlands is increasing.”
Hogarth added the onsite division of the company was still performing well, (Recruiter.co.uk, 12 January) with four new locations opening in the last four weeks.
