WorkDigital, the search technology company operating social network analyser TheSocialCV.com has announced the launch of data system FreshUp.

FreshUp uses data from 50 social media sites to identify and build profiles of potential candidates, which can be matched with CV records.

The company estimates that over 85% of CVs stored by companies are likely to be out of date.

Work Digital chief executive Howard Lee says: “There are many search engines that index data found in social media. For the last four years, our focus has been on how to turn this unstructured data into useful info for recruitment.”

A statement from the company confirms: “The company is careful to only capture data that is relevant to the recruitment process and does not for example provide age, relationship status or sexual orientation to its customers”.
