Financial search and selection firm Emerald Group has begun operations in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region with the opening of a Dubai office this week.

The office, the company’s eighth, follows the opening of the firm’s Singapore branch earlier in April. Other locations are Basingstoke, London, Frankfurt, Zurich, Hong Kong and Sydney.

The new base is being led by James Harrison, who joined the company in the summer with the aim of developing the Middle East market. He has been working in the region for the past five years.

Executive director Steve Stubbings comments: “The addition of the MENA region allows Emerald to link our UK and European business with its Asia and Australian counterparts, offering both clients and candidates a holistic solution to either their personal job search or corporate recruitment requirements.”
