Thu, 21 Feb 2013International sportswear brand adidas Group has launched a new website to attract candidates to its headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany.
The company reports that recruiters frequently are met with the question “Herzo-what?” when would-be recruits hear about the firm’s base, but the herzo.adidas-group.com recruitment website should change all that, the firm says, with the website designed to show prospective employees what it is like to live and work there.
The website features 21 employees from different backgrounds filmed talking about their experience of the village of Herzogenaurach, which was the home to the firm’s founder Adi Dassler, and is known internally as ‘Herzo’.
Currently, adidas employs over 3,500 people from 70 nations at Herzogenaurach, where it presently has over 250 open roles. Group-wide, the company employs over 46,000 staff.
