Minto joins Katherine Drew, group resourcing delivery manager at shoe manufacturer and retailer Clarks, and Magnus Batey, head of resourcing at DIY retailer Wickes, part of builders merchants and home improvements company Travis Perkins, on the committee.
Clarks and Travis Perkins are the first two corporate DEA members to be publicly announced. Alan Whitford is operations director and on the executive committee.
The DEA focuses on the areas of talent acquisition and resourcing, and is aimed at in-house resourcing and recruitment professionals. According to its website, among the services the DEA aims to provide are the creation of a talent community, as well as corporate services to its members, such as compliance, branding and training.
• Earlier this year, Recruiter reported the launch of Tempo, a membership body funded and steered by temporary agency labour procurer de Poel, which will engage with both recruitment firms and direct employers.
